What You'll Do

Act as the provider in the ER during night shift hours.
Perform medical screening exams, diagnose, and manage emergency conditions.
Conduct procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, abscess drainage, and more.
Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide excellent patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions.
Admit patients when inpatient care is required and coordinate appropriate referrals.

Qualifications

Master’s, post-master’s, or doctoral NP degree (CCNE or NLNAC accredited)
Current NE licensure as an RN and NP
National certification (ANCC or equivalent)
ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
Minimum 3 years of APRN experience in acute care

The APP will see all ages of patients and will work independently from the physicians. Essential Functions : Demonstrates clinical expertise and expanded knowledge through patient care activities which may include diagnosis and management of a wide range of health problems.
