School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Cambridge, Massachusetts

A full-time Registered Nurse position is available to provide essential school nursing services within PreK-8 grade levels in Cambridge, MA. This contract role offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will support the health and well-being of students across multiple school campuses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive school nursing care, including health assessments, medication administration, and emergency response

  • Traveling onsite to various school locations within Cambridge public schools for coverage as needed
  • Adhering to all required safety protocols and completion of fingerprinting and CORI background checks

Qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license required
  • Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple school locations and diverse student needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be comfortable commuting to different school campuses throughout Cambridge
  • Completion of fingerprinting and CORI check mandatory for hire

Work schedule and location details:

  • Full-time contract position
  • Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, 40 hours per week
  • Onsite work only; remote work is not available
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Contract end date: June 18, 2026
  • Location: Cambridge, MA, with some campuses in Lawrence, MA area
