A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed RN or LPN to provide dedicated transportation nursing support for a non-speaking student with autism and seizure disorder. This onsite contract position is based in Waltham, MA, and involves supporting a students daily safe transport between their home and school.
Position Details:
- Location: Waltham, MA
- Contract Duration: Immediate start through June 15, 2026
- Schedule: Approximately 1 hour per day, with morning and afternoon pick-ups
- Caseload: Transport-only nursing support for one student diagnosed with autism and seizure disorder
- Responsibilities include:
- Morning pick-up at the students home at 7:00 AM and transportation to the Beverly School for the Deaf
- Afternoon pick-up from school at 1:00 PM and return transport to the students home in Waltham
- Providing attentive nursing care during transportation to ensure student safety and well-being
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid MA state licensure as an RN or LPN
- Experience working with children, preferably those with autism and seizure disorders
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a transportation setting
- Excellent communication and observational skills to manage health needs during transit
