Position Details:

  • Duration: Immediate start through June 15th, 2026
  • Hours: Approximately 1 hour daily
  • Setting: Onsite during transportation only
  • Caseload: Transport-focused nursing for one student
  • Student Diagnosis: Autism and seizure disorder (non-speaking)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing support during morning and afternoon transports between the students home and Beverly School for the Deaf
  • Monitor and assist the students medical needs during transport via van
  • Coordinate pick-up and drop-off logistics to ensure safety and comfort
  • Respond promptly to any seizure activity or medical issues during transport
  • Maintain clear documentation of care and incidents as required

Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts RN or LPN license
  • Experience working with pediatric clients, particularly those with autism and seizure disorders
  • Ability to work independently in a transportation nursing setting
  • Strong communication and observational skills
