Position Summary: Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred
Certifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or LPN required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire

Maintaining patient records by accurately recording patient medical history, obtaining, and recording patient vital signs, symptoms, complaints, and medications, etc., and obtaining and scanning any lab or imaging reports, as well as any hospital notes into the EMR in order that the provider may have complete patient information. Performing venipuncture and collecting specimens as needed. Assisting provider with various procedures and screenings. Relaying instructions and pertinent information to patients. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications: A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED). Current national certification such as a CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA required. CPR certification required. Successful ability to work with teams across the business to maximize the impact of the overall business effort.
