Registered Nurse School Setting in Buellton, CA

A registered nurse (RN) is needed to provide specialized nursing support within a K-12 school setting in Buellton, CA. This contract position offers a flexible schedule, with 3 hours per week that can be completed either fully in person, as a hybrid, or spread throughout the week. The assignment begins as soon as possible, with a preferred start date of June 3rd, 2026, and continues through the current school year (CSY). Key responsibilities include conducting a triennial reassessment for a student with medical needs. This involves developing and updating health care plans, coordinating with a medical aide, and ensuring all support aligns with the students individualized needs. The role requires the nurse to meet with the student and parents at least once in person to discuss and address health concerns comprehensively.
