Position Summary

The Short Stay Unit (SSU) at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) has 15 beds within a pre and post-surgical unit. We admit and prepare patients for various surgeries from open heart, GYN, urology, ENT and pediatric to name a few. As a dynamic nursing unit, we provide nurses the ability to make a difference while providing a comfortable and excellence surgical experience for our patients.

In our unit, you will have an opportunity to learn and grow your nursing skills within a fast-paced and collegial team. With the ability to care for a variety of patients, from geriatric, adult to pediatric, you will educate, reassure, and provide compassion to our surgical patients.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred

Experience

Peri-Op, procedural, or ED experience is required
Charge RN experience preferred

Licensure/Certifications

RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start

RN Obstetrics Position Summary As an RN for ATRMC's Obstetrics unit, you have the opportunity to be part of a team in an advanced birth center. ATRMC may boast about having the most sophisticated equipment and facilities and about our highly trained, experienced and professional staff - however what truly sets us apart is our caring attitude. The Family Birth Center at ATRMC has a total of 12 beds: 8 are LDRP and 4 are overflow for couplets, antepartum and post C-section couplets as needed. There is also a 3-bed triage area. Nurse to patient ratios are 1:1 - 1:4 for couplets and 1:1 - 1:2 for labor patients based on acuities. C-sections are 1:1 until after four hours recovery. All assignments ratios are based on AWHONN guidelines.
