Salary Range: $53.99-$77.79
Shift Differentials:
- $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
- $2.50 extra for working weekends

Position Summary
Asante Radiation Oncology is an integral part of our cancer services team, combining the latest in technology with compassionate patient-centered care. Radiation Oncology is a multidisciplinary team consisting of Radiation Oncologists, physicist, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, specially trained RNs, and medical assistants.
As we continue to expand our medical services to meet the needs of our community, one area we are focused on is expanding and improving the state of cancer care. Our transformative efforts include the Spears Cancer Center in Grants Pass and the Heimann Cancer Center in Medford, both of which opened January 2022. Some of our advance services include, infusion services, radiation oncology, on site lab services, dedicated oncology pharmacy services, CT services and more.
The Radiation Oncology RN at Asante will have the opportunity to:
- Apply nursing process to plan and manage care of radiation patients.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical professionals, and other staff to ensure quality of care provided.
- Effectively communicate fundamental patient and family information, and variances from patient goals to health care team.
- Involve appropriate members of multidisciplinary health care team in providing treatment and continuing care of patient as needed.
Qualifications
Education
- BSN: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
- 1 year of recent clinical experience; required
Licensure/Certifications
- RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
- BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
Preferred Certifications
- OCN: Oncology Certified Nurse
