Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized pediatric care including ventilator management and trach care
Assist with emergency response procedures and equipment troubleshooting
Support GT feeding using enteral pumps and maintain feeding protocols

Aid with donning and doffing of AFO orthotics

Qualifications:

Active, state-issued Registered Nurse license
Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
Proficient in pediatric ventilator care, including understanding of ventilator settings, suctioning, bagging, and alarm troubleshooting
Experience with trach changes and Heat Moisture Exchanger (HME) use
Skilled in enteral feeding, skin integrity management, and emergency response in pediatric care settings
Ability to manage medical equipment connections and student mobility support
