Qualifications:
  • Substitute Nurse
    • Must hold a NJ School Nurse Substitute License and NJ Registered Nurse License or a NJ School Nurse License.
    • Must be AED and CPR Certified.
    • Salary: $250.00 per diem (7 hours per day)
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of technology relevant to the position.
  • Must be technologically proficient and comfortable using digital platforms and software applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, and staff members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be reliable and of good moral character.
  • Must meet criminal background check.

Working Conditions: Called in on an as needed basis.

Application Procedure:
1. Apply Online. Contact Kyle Flores at kflores@flboe.com once you have completed the online application. Application must be completed to be considered.
2. Applicant must upload a copy of fingerprinting clearance letter when complete.
3. Once approved candidate must complete online training tutorials as assigned within 30 days of appointment.

Effective September 1, 2011, all employees of school districts must reside in the State of New Jersey, unless exempted under law. If you already work for the school district as of September 1, 2011, and you do not live in New Jersey, you are not required to move to New Jersey. However, if you begin your office, position or employment on September 1, 2011 or later, you must reside in New Jersey. If you do not reside in New Jersey, you have one year after the date you take your office, position or employment to relocate your residence to New Jersey. If you do not do so, you are subject to removal from your office, position or employment.
