Job Summary
The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients who are undergoing procedures or exams in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at any Radiology site. The RN carries out established nursing procedures to prepare patients prior to Radiologic procedures, during the procedure, and following the procedure. The RN assists with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $93.47 - $121.11 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications
- Three - five years of recent RN experience in Interventional Radiology, Neuro-Interventional Radiology and Pediatric Interventional Radiology.
- Recent Nuclear Medicine experience
- PSMA and PRRT therapy
- Ability to wear lead apron required in Interventional Radiology and Neuro Interventional Radiology
- Moderate Sedation competency required in Interventional Radiology and Neuro Interventional Radiology
- The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations
- Certification in Radiology Imaging Nursing
- Three to five years of RN experience in pediatric Interventional Radiology
- Recent critical care experience
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
- Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Active American Heart Association PALS Certification
- Active American Heart Association ACLS Certification
