Position Details:

Shift: FT Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am)
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus with an 18-month commitment

Job Summary:

Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
Triages patients.
Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of Texas.
2+ years of OB / Labor and Delivery experience required .
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas .
ACLS, BLS, AWHONN fetal monitoring, NRP, STABLE required.
Experience using: Fetal monitor (CPN), EMR (MT), pulse oximeter, Panda warmer.
