Requirements
- RN license - NH or other Compact State
- Prefer oncology experience - minimum of 2 years and/or work in an ambulatory setting; OCN preferred
- 1 to 3 years Directly related experience
- Associate's Degree
- Strong customer service and analytical skills
- Work as a team member with the physician to monitor and manage patient care for their designated patient caseload.
- Collaborates with schedulers, infusion nursing staff, social work, medical assistants, office staff and other multidisciplinary departments.
- Administers injectable therapies as ordered.
- Triage calls from patients and outside medical offices. Coordinate sick visits as needed.
- Follow up and triage of all needs designated by the provider within 1-2 business days
- Be aware of key issues and changes with your team of patients.
- RN Symptom management visits to review lab results for active treatment patients
- Oral medication management including refill requests, prior authorizations, and education
- Participate in weekly provider, scheduler, NCC, rounds, palliative care rounds, clinics, tumor board as appropriate.
- All other duties as assigned
