The Patient Placement Registered Nurse (RN) supports the organization's patient placement initiatives. Working under minimal supervision, this role assesses patient needs and determines appropriate placement options to ensure timely and suitable care.

- Reviews patient placement activities to ensure efficient and appropriate placement of patients.
- Develops strategies and recommendations for optimizing patient placement processes to enhance patient care and resource utilization.
- Prepares reports and documentation related to patient placement to maintain accurate records.
- Serves as a knowledgeable resource for patient placement policies and procedures to provide guidance and support to staff and stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Associate's DegreePreferred: Bachelor's Degree
Experience
- Required: 5 years as a Registered Nurse and 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
