Salary Range: $75.58 - $100.58
The Oncology Nurse Navigator provides comprehensive clinical support, coordination, education, and advocacy for oncology patients across the continuum of care, including medical oncology, oral chemotherapy management, and radiation oncology. Working closely with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams, the Nurse Navigator serves as a clinical resource and primary point of contact to support patients through diagnosis, treatment, symptom management, and survivorship.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, triage, treatment coordination, toxicity monitoring, clinical documentation, patient education, care planning, and facilitation of resources. The role integrates ONS standards, established oncology protocols, and nursing best practices to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The Navigator also participates in quality improvement initiatives, protocol development, annual competencies, EMR (EPIC/Beacon) management, compliance reviews, and training of new staff.
