This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience.

Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse - Pediatrics Brunswick role is responsible for performing duties and responsibilities within scope of nursing practice, related to patient care in the ambulatory setting. Participates in patient and family teaching by working cooperatively with the physician/advanced practice practitioner and other members of the healthcare team.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program required.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: One year of LPN experience preferred.

We see patients for all sorts of diagnosis such as STI/HIV, bone infections, chronic UTI's, or just a surgery wound that won't heal. Between our traveling patients and different type of wounds/infections, it keeps it interesting. We have two locations, one in South Portland and one in Biddeford, so there could be opportunities to work at both locations if interested. This is a full-time (40 hours), benefited position. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8 am-4:30 pm. Your nights, weekends, and holidays are off!
