Certified Nurse Midwife opportunity with Samaritan Health Services in Oregon

Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking new grad or experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team in Corvallis, OR. Due to increased patient volume we are expanding our practice to 10+ midwives and 7 - 8 OBs

  • 80 - 90 births a month with 15 - 20 patients/day seen in clinic
  • First call for triage and deliveries, extra duties while on call include inpatient rounds, first assist with c-sections, triage labor and delivery management
  • Collaborate and mentor Family Medicine residents and midwifery students

Job Requirements

  • American Midwifery Board Certification and Oregon Nursing License
  • Two or more years’ experience preferred, with skills including limited OB ultrasound, IUD placements, and first assist with c-sections
  • Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
