Registered Nurse School Setting in Dallas, OR

A contract nursing opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in school health to support students in grades 3 through 5. This position requires an active Oregon nursing license and experience in a school setting as a Certified School Nurse (CSN) or equivalent Registered Nurse with school health expertise.

This role involves a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, providing health services and care coordination for students within the assigned caseload. You will be responsible for assessing student health needs, managing chronic conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with educators and families to promote wellness and safe learning environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse licensure
  • Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) or equivalent school nursing experience
  • Knowledge of pediatric and school health nursing practices
  • Ability to manage a caseload of elementary school students (grades 3-5)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans
  • Monitor student health records and documentation in compliance with state and school regulations
