Your Role as a CAREgiver:

  • Personal Support: Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
  • Safe Mobility: Assist with movement and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts)
  • Homemaking & Meal Prep: Create a safe, clean home environment with light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking
  • Engagement & Care: Provide companionship, medication reminders, and specialized care for dementia clients

What We Need from You:

Comfort Keepers® caregivers travel to clients’ homes to support adults with personal cares and light housekeeping. Ask about our FREE CNA classes. Experience with dementia strongly preferred. The starting wage is $18/hour for Caregivers and $20/hour for CNAs. After 60 days of employment, Caregivers are eligible to enroll in our CNA training program and will receive a wage increase upon certification. Responsibilities: Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc. Meal planning, cooking and baking Conversation and companionship Interactive Caregiving Errands and transportation Assistance with ADLs.
