Serenity Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team serving the Wyoming Valley area.

Position Details:

Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Coverage: Nights and weekends
Role: Provide after-hours nursing support, respond to patient needs, and manage calls appropriately
Additional Duties: Occasional hospice admissions as needed

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to after-hours calls from patients, families, and facilities
Provide skilled nursing care and guidance in accordance with hospice standards
Assess patient needs and coordinate care to ensure comfort and dignity
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Perform admissions when required during on-call hours

Qualifications:

Current RN license in Pennsylvania
Hospice or home health experience preferred (but not required)
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and handle after-hours situations with confidence
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
