The Electrophysiology Laboratory provides service for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures and related testing. The department supports all functions related to electrophysiology procedures including but not limited to: patient care, information management, equipment operation and maintenance. The labs are staffed for operation during daytime hours and for extended hours as needed including 24-hour emergencies.

Practices within the Medical Center's policies and procedures. Adheres to the Intensive Caring Value statements as demonstrated through positive patient/guest relations, positive and effective interactions with staff, and formulating and meeting developmental goals. Adheres to Hospital and Departmental Policy/Procedure.
Minimum Qualifications
For Hire: Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing, current license, current BLS certification, minimum 1 year critical care or perioperative experience required.
On going: Maintains certification and licensing status, meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements. Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
