West Bozeman Surgery Center has an immediate need for a full time Surgical Technologist to join our team!

 

West Bozeman Outpatient Surgery Center is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center.   We believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high quality, service-oriented environment for our patient's surgical procedures. Our facility is accredited by The Joint Commission. 

 

What You Will Do (Job Summary): The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Required Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a Scrub Technician Program.  Certified Surgical Tech preferred.
  • Two+ years of experience as a Surgical Tech. Preferably experience in plastics, ENT and Orthopedics.
  • BLS certification.
  • Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Other skills and abilities: General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room.
