HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible -Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). You’ll be part of a well-established practice within the Hospital Sisters Health System, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Position Requirements:
- Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start
- Board Certified
- 2+ years of provider work experience is strongly preferred.
-Psychiatric Mental Health Certification (PMHNP)

Education Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
  • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
  • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
  • Federal DEA license is preferred.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.

This Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work alongside the HSHS Market Executive Medical Director and Market Director of Operations to lead and represent the APPs practicing in the Central Market. The HSHS Medical Group Southern Market includes O’Fallon, Highland, Breese, Greenville, Maryville, Troy, and Edwardsville. The ideal candidate is an experienced advanced practice provider both clinically and also has experience in clinical leadership, mentorship, and/or program development. This leader will hold direct responsibility and co-chair the HSHS Physician Enterprise APP Council.
