Registered Nurse School Setting - Jersey City, NJ

A full-time Registered Nurse is needed to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a male 7th-grade student in a K-12 school setting in Jersey City, NJ. This onsite role supports the student's complex medical needs during school hours, 8:45 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, from ASAP through June 22, 2026.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialized care including management of asthma symptoms.
  • Administering G-tube feedings and handling catheter care.
  • Assisting with toileting and diapering as part of daily student care.
  • Monitoring and responding promptly to seizure activity.
  • Collaborating with educational staff to support student health and safety.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Demonstrated experience working in school nursing or pediatric nursing, ideally within the K-12 system.
  • Proficient in care procedures such as G-tube feedings, catheter management, and seizure first aid.
