Description

Per Diem - MaineHealth Anesthesia is seeking an experienced CRNA to join our growing all CRNA anesthesiology team at MaineHealth Memorial Hospital in North Conway, NH. This position provides a unique opportunity to work independently in a hospital-employed position, with the largest nonprofit healthcare system in northern New England.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthesiology Program.
  • Active State of NH APRN-CNRA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • Active NBCRNA certification; BCLS, ACLS certifications; and DEA registration.
  • Minimum 3 years CRNA experience preferred.
  • Ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, and obstetrics experience is required. Experience in a critical access hospital setting strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.

Highly effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required to interact with patients, families, department units, medical and nursing staff on all essential matters. Demonstrated ability to promote professionalism thorough involvement in professional organizations, teaching, research, publishing, and/or certification in an area of specialty. Ability to perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist in the facility setting on a regular basis. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population(s) served.
