Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Our specialties include surgical services, orthopedics, rehabilitation, imaging, and adult critical care. We also offer a 24-hour emergency department. Additionally, we are certified as a Primary Heart Attack Center, Primary Stroke Center, Level III Trauma Center, Level III Maternal Center, Level III Neonatal Center, and a nationally accredited facility for Breast care, as well as Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement.

Work Schedule
- PRN - Day Shift
- Rotating Weekends
- 1-2 shifts per week
- Central Staffing department for 222-bed facility
- MAGNET facility
- Level III Trauma Center
- Primary Stroke center
- Enjoy self-scheduling to help with work/life balance.

- Excellent opportunities for educational and career growth including advancement opportunities in leadership
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
- CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
- BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
- ACLS – within 90 days of hire required
- CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire
- NIHSS - required for ICU/PCU Neighborhood 6 Months Req
- 1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
- Float Pool experience strongly preferred
- Intermediate Care experience or strong telemetry background preferred
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- assesses the patient
- plans the care of the patient
- intervenes as appropriate
- evaluates the effectiveness of intervention
- Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
