Do you have a heart for helping others? At A Place At Home – Jacksonville Southeast, we are looking for compassionate Part-Time Companion Caregivers to provide seniors with the support, care, and companionship they need to live safely and happily at home.

Whether you’re experienced in caregiving or just starting out, we provide training and ongoing support to set you up for success.

Schedule:

  • Part-time, flexible shifts available

  • Opportunities to pick up additional hours as needed

  • A great fit for individuals seeking rewarding supplemental work

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide meaningful companionship through conversation, games, or walks

  • Assist with daily personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene)

  • Prepare meals and encourage healthy nutrition

  • Support with mobility and safe transfers

  • Light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe environment

  • Medication reminders and transportation for errands or appointments

  • Observe and report any changes in client’s health, mood, or safety

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Pass Level 2 background check

  • CPR certified
