A healthcare professional is needed for a contract position at an early childhood school in Santa Ana, CA. This role involves providing skilled nursing care to a young student in a one-on-one setting. The assignment runs through the current school year, beginning as soon as possible and ending at the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care including suctioning, tube feeding, and respiratory assistance throughout the school day.
- Support the student during transportation between home and school.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals or licensed staff who provide supervision and additional support.
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate with the school team regarding the students needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California RN license required; LVNs with relevant experience may be considered.
- Prior experience in pediatric nursing, especially in early childhood settings, is preferred.
- Ability to perform respiratory care procedures and manage feeding tubes confidently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work one-on-one with a student.
- Willingness to assist with student transportation as needed.
Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Santa Ana, CA.
- Typically 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, between 8:30 am and 1:30 pm.
- Commitment through the current school year.
