Carson Tahoe is seeking Advanced Practice Providers (NP or PA) to join our Family Practice and Urgent Care teams. Current openings include:
- Full Time Urgent Care APP
- Per Diem Urgent Care APP
- Full Time Primary Care Walk-in Clinic
- Per Diem Primary Care Walk-in Clinic
- Full Time Primary Care Reno
- Full Time Primary Care Minden
Carson Tahoe's Walk-in Clinic offers a variety of services for patients who are unable to secure an appointment with their primary care provider on short notice. The Walk-in clinics are a great option for patients needing treatment of common illnesses like cold, cough, flu, sore throat, ear ache, flu, skin and eye irritation, as well as vaccinations, physicals, diagnostic tests, and more. The Walk-in Clinic is open Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Carson Tahoe Urgent Cares are an excellent choice for a wide variety of simple or moderately complex medical problems that are not critical enough to be classified as emergencies. The staff at Carson Tahoe Urgent Care provides high quality, convenient medical care for non-life threatening injuries and illnesses. Currently, Carson Tahoe has Urgent Care facilities in Carson City and Dayton. We will open an Urgent Care in Minden this summer.
Carson Tahoe Primary Care delivers comprehensive, patient-centered outpatient care across the Carson City region as part of a larger integrated health system serving Northern Nevada. Primary care services are offered at multiple locations including Carson City, Minden, Dayton, and Reno providing accessible care close to where patients live.
Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited school as approved by the Nevada State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practitioner of Nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) program accredited by Accreditation Review Commission on Education for Physician Assistants (ARC-PA).
- American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) recognized board certification or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
- Active and unrestricted Advanced Practitioner of Nursing (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in the State of Nevada.
- Possess a DEA licensure and Nevada controlled substance license.
- Medical Staff privileges at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.
