The Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool provides high-quality patient care across multiple units within a hospital setting. This full-time, day-shift role supports staffing needs across multiple departments while ensuring safe, consistent, and patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and experienced in high-acuity environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care across assigned hospital units based on operational needs
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
  • Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in status
  • Float to Emergency Department and other critical care areas as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary hospital teams
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Follow all hospital safety, quality, and infection control standards

 Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Prior Critical Care (Emergency Department) experience required
  • BLS required
  • Strong clinical judgment, flexibility, and critical-thinking skills
