Position Overview:
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) - Primary Care provides comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients across the lifespan. This role includes health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions in accordance with Illinois state regulations, hospital policies, and evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. The ANP collaborates closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Education Qualifications:
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Master's or Doctoral Nurse Practitioner program.
Certification Qualifications:
- Required: Current Illinois Nursing License
- Required: Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
- Required: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training course (CPI) required within 1 month of hire date
- Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross ACLS)
Experience Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Illinois Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
- National Nurse Practitioner certification (AANP or ANCC)
- Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
