Key Responsibilities

Assess, manage, and treat a variety of wounds including pressure injuries, surgical wounds, burns, ostomies, and traumatic injuries
Perform regular skin assessments and maintain precise, timely documentation
Administer wound care treatments and educate residents, families, and staff on care protocols
Identify and monitor risk factors for pressure ulcers and secondary infections
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective pain management and optimal wound healing outcomes
Evaluate nutritional needs and recommend appropriate wound care products and therapies

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree)
Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Florida
Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
