Position: Full-Time / Part-Time

Overview: At A Place at Home- The Woodlands we are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Male Caregivers or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. As a vital member of our care staff, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Provide mobility assistance and help with physical therapy exercises.
Monitor patient vital signs, report changes, and assist with medication reminders.
Offer emotional support and companionship to patients.
Maintain accurate records of patient care and communicate with the healthcare team.

Requirements:

CNA certification (or equivalent) required.
Proven experience as a caregiver or CNA, especially in a home health or long-term care setting.
Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships.
Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused demeanor.
Ability to lift, move, and assist patients with mobility needs.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

Male caregiver applicants preferred to meet specific care needs of male patients (please note: this is for the comfort and personal preference of patients in line with their care requirements. All applications will be considered for this client).
CPR and First Aid certification.
Experience with dementia or memory care.
