Job Opportunity: Male Caregiver/CNA

Location: Conroe, Montgomery, The Woodlands, and surrounding areas

Position: Full-Time / Part-Time

Overview: At A Place at Home- The Woodlands we are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Male Caregivers or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. As a vital member of our care staff, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

  • Provide mobility assistance and help with physical therapy exercises.

  • Monitor patient vital signs, report changes, and assist with medication reminders.

  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients.

  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and communicate with the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • CNA certification (or equivalent) required.

  • Proven experience as a caregiver or CNA, especially in a home health or long-term care setting.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships.

  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused demeanor.

  • Ability to lift, move, and assist patients with mobility needs.

  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Male caregiver applicants preferred to meet specific care needs of male patients (please note: this is for the comfort and personal preference of patients in line with their care requirements. All applications will be considered for this client).

  • CPR and First Aid certification.

  • Experience with dementia or memory care.
