We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team at Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus in Columbus, Nebraska. As a Director of Nursing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of care and quality of services to our patients. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies

  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration

  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and training, and make recommendations for staff development

  • Collaborate with other departments, including administration, therapy, and dietary, to ensure seamless care coordination

  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and develop action plans to address areas of improvement

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in a nursing leadership role

  • Degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Current RN license in the state of Nebraska

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence
