As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for a range of patient care duties, showcasing your expertise in administering medication, accurately recording dosages, reporting changes, and collecting samples.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer both prescription and non-prescription medications to patients as part of their daily care routine.
  • Coordinate with various nurses to provide assistance in patient care and medication management.
  • Adhere to written or verbal instructions on medication management, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain records of medication dosages and administration times.
  • Regularly observe patients, document changes in their condition, and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team.
  • Collect samples for analysis as required.
  • Ensure routine inspection and cleaning of equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient healthcare environment.

Requirements:
