Join our medical team as a dedicated and skilled Certified Medication Aide, playing a crucial role in ensuring top-notch patient care at our facility. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for a range of patient care duties, showcasing your expertise in administering medication, accurately recording dosages, reporting changes, and collecting samples.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer both prescription and non-prescription medications to patients as part of their daily care routine.
Coordinate with various nurses to provide assistance in patient care and medication management.
Adhere to written or verbal instructions on medication management, ensuring precision and accuracy.
Maintain records of medication dosages and administration times.
Regularly observe patients, document changes in their condition, and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team.
Collect samples for analysis as required.
Ensure routine inspection and cleaning of equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient healthcare environment.
Uphold all health and safety standards..
Respond promptly to patient emergency call signals, bells, or intercom systems to identify patient needs.

Requirements:

High school diploma or relevant qualification.
Must be a certified medication aide.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within the healthcare team.
Good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.
