School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Jersey City, New Jersey

A full-time Registered Nurse is needed to provide essential nursing care within a high school setting in Orange, NJ. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 26, 2026, requiring a commitment of 35 hours per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload encompassing the entire high school building, delivering comprehensive nursing services to students and staff.
• Conduct health assessments, administer medications, and provide emergency care as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans in collaboration with school personnel and families.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and district regulations.
• Participate in health education and wellness initiatives within the school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active school nurse licensure and certifications in New Jersey are mandatory.
• Previous experience in a school-based nursing role is required; clinical setting experience alone will not suffice.
• Ability to work independently within a school environment servicing a full building caseload.
• Required compliance with fingerprint clearance for both agency and district.
• Up-to-date TB test and physical examination are necessary.
• Willingness to participate in interviews conducted in person or via Zoom.
