Responsibilities of RN Supervisor:

Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in Massachusetts
Minimum 2+ years nursing experience in healthcare setting
Experience as a Supervisor
Effective communication skills, professionalism, and ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public
Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care center

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Massachusetts
Valid BLS Certification (CPR)
Ability to work with multiple patients at once

Follows established universal precautions and infection control policies and procedures when performing daily tasks. Reviews complaints and grievances made by the resident or responsible party and submits an oral/written report to the Director of Nursing, what action(s) were taken to resolve the complaint or grievance.
