Essential Functions Provide comfort and companionship to clients in hospice care. Offer non-medical support such as assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and repositioning. Help maintain a safe and peaceful environment, including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal/snack preparation when appropriate. Follow the hospice care plan and report any changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition. Maintain strict confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA guidelines and company policies.
