Registered Nurse (RN) Relief (Per-Diem) - Neonatal, ICU (NICU) Scripps Encinitas, CA

JOB SUMMARY:

Functions at the Standard Level of clinical nursing practice. Primarily responsible for providing meal period relief to one or more satellite locations. Responsible for providing patient care and supervision while assigned bedside RN is away from department. Responsible to independently applying the nursing process through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care. Selects and administers the appropriate care, taking into consideration the age, developmental level and size of the patient. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. Should be able to identify own limitations and seek resources as needed.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's Degree

2 years of experience

California RN License

BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)

CA Driver's License

Proof of Auto Insurance

For all areas other than NICU: PALS or PEARS (American Heart Association)(within 6 months of hire)

NICU: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation) (AAP)

Required to float to all licensed RCHSD designated areas of specialty, i.e. NICU Satellite units

The current salary range for this position is $61.91 to $88.55

RN Care Coordinator II - Gastroenterology

POSITION DETAILS: Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts in person (not remote) FTE: Part-Time, 40 hours per 2 week pay period, as of now JOB SUMMARY: The Care Coordinator, in collaboration with Gastroenterology specialty medical providers, performs case management and direct patient care to assigned patients. This includes point of care procedures, management of Gastroenterology and other medical devices, ongoing patient, family and staff education and coordination of care with outside community agencies. The coordinator also triages and manages patient requests and needs via telephone triage and patient messaging via EPIC. The coordinator also partners and supports continued growth of medical assistants to deliver well rounded care. The Gastroenterology division care for patients with general and complex diagnoses and symptoms. The Coordinator facilitates effective functionality of clinic operations, actively participates in Quality Management and acts as a provider extender within his/her scope of practice. The Care Coordinator performs additional team functions as required to maintain effective customer service. The coordinator role in Gastroenterology has a blend of hand on procedures, complex patient care coordination, education on disease management, triage, and in clinic support. We are looking for someone that is autonomous, collaborative, supportive of teams, educator, customer focused, and solution driven. The coordinator would be joining a large division with a collaborative partnership with Providers and ancillary support staff as well as an engaged and dynamic team.
