Position: Live-In Caregiver
Compensation: $1,360 per week (equivalent to about $194.29 per day)
Expected Hours: 40 hours

Live-In Shift Services Overview
HomeWell Care Services is seeking dedicated Live-In Caregivers to reside in the client’s home for an extended period. Caregivers follow a structured 24-hour live-in schedule outlined in the Weekly Schedule and Timesheet: Live-In. You will play a vital role in supporting clients requiring personal care, mobility assistance, and daily living support.

Work Schedule Expectations
Each 24-hour live-in shift includes paid work time and unpaid (meal + off-duty + sleep) time, and you will be provided with a private sleeping area, personal space, meals, and access to laundry.

Primary Duties
  • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care
  • Medication reminders
  • Meal preparation based on dietary needs
  • Transfers, mobility assistance, and bedbound care
  • Support for individuals with dementia or developmental disabilities
  • Behavior management as needed
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment
  • Strict adherence to Care Plan, documentation, and time management
Compensation
  • $194.29 per day for standard live-in shifts
  • Equivalent to $65K+ per year for a full 7-day live-in role
  • Additional pay for any documented interruptions to meal, off-duty, or sleep time
Qualifications
  • 2+ years caregiving
  • Bedbound care
  • Dementia care
  • Diabetes care
  • Hospice experience
  • Manual patient handling
  • Gait belt, hoyer lift, and wheelchair experience
Skills
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors and robust care plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Being proactive and taking charge of what needs to be done
  • Meal preparation and dietary compliance
  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
