CMA School Contract

A 1:1 nursing opportunity is available for a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) to support a medically fragile student in a K-12 school setting. This contract position extends through the current school year, running from ASAP through June 2026.

Location: Cambridge, MA, with transportation responsibilities between Billerica, MA, and Lexington, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 nursing care for a special education student during transportation and school hours.
  • Assist the student in preparing for daily van trips between home and school.
  • Collaborate with the nurse on the receiving out-of-district campus.
  • Float within the school district to cover other nursing roles as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN or LPN licensure.
  • Experience in school nursing or with medically fragile students.
  • Ability to support special education transportation routines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Starting around 7:007:30 AM, ending around 2:00 PM
