Night shift opportunities within our Med Surg and Critical Care units in Boise, Meridian, and/or Nampa. Please look at the screening questions to see the current openings. 

   

What you can expect from this role

  • Opportunities available in several inpatient units within the Treasure Valley
  • Full-time, Part-time, and Flex positions available in various Med Surg and/or Critical Care departments
  • Can choose your top 2 units of interest upon applying
  • Shift differential pay offered for Nights and Weekends
  • Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education 

Qualifications: CNA 

 

Licenses/Certifications: 

  • Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification

 

Qualifications: Nurse Apprentice 

 

Licenses/Certifications: 

 

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA accreditations)
  • Experience: 0 years experience
  • Licenses/Certifications:
  • Nurse Apprentice Letter OR Nursing Intern Letter from the State Board of Nursing . The Nurse Apprentice is able to remain in the Nurse Apprentice position following graduation while awaiting RN or GN Licensure or 90 days, whichever comes first.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

Both North and South 10 have Telemetry capabilities for our patients. Each side houses 36 patients to a maximum of 72 patients. South 10 has a 12-bed Intermediate Care Unit embedded within the 36-bed unit. INCU has critically care-trained RNs who support the patient's needs and care for ventilated patients. South 10 also has 2 negative pressure isolation rooms with an anti-room that is used when needed for specific isolation needs. We do multidisciplinary rounds Monday – Friday. This involves the patient in their care and allows the team members to collaborate with the patient to give them the best possible care and appropriate discharge to home or other facilities. We have a pharmacist who has an office on the unit to assist the RNs when needed to help avoid delay of care to any patient.
