Job Description

SYNERGY HomeCare of Southeast Texas is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home care to clients throughout Southeast Texas. Whether your experience comes from caring for a loved one or working professionally, we welcome individuals who are passionate about helping others live safely and independently at home.

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical assistance and support in the client’s home
Offer companionship through conversation, reading, and activities
Support mental alertness with engaging, client-centered activities
Provide emotional support and encouragement
Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment
Perform light housekeeping (laundry, linens, basic cleaning)
Prepare and serve meals and clean the kitchen afterward
Assist with grooming and dressing
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and walks
Provide medication reminders for self-administered medications
Observe and report changes in client condition to a supervisor
Build positive relationships with clients, families, and team members
Complete accurate documentation of care provided
Participate in training, staff meetings, and care discussions
Follow all safety, confidentiality, and company policies

Qualifications

At least 6 months of personal or professional caregiving experience
Reliable transportation
Valid Texas Driver’s License and current auto insurance
Strong communication skills and a caring attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable, patient, and detail-oriented
Ability to pass a background check
