The RN 2 in Home Health begins to assume leadership responsibility and works under general supervision. RN 3 : A Registered Nurse (RN) 3 is an advanced level who is assigned at least one float area and renders individualized comprehensive nursing care to meet the patients physical, psychological, spiritual, social, cultural, and educational needs. RN 3 provides the best possible preventative, supportive, and rehabilitative nursing care to each patient based upon the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure. A RN 3 in Home Health is an advanced level nurse who renders individualized comprehensive nursing care to meet the patient’s physical, psychological, spiritual, social, cultural, and educational needs. The RN 3 in Home Health provides the best possible preventative, supportive, and rehabilitative nursing care to each patient based upon the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. The RN functions under the oversight and direction of the Nursing Supervisor. Independently plans and implements routine nursing care in assigned department. Needs minimal supervision. Rapid Response Team and Code Team responder. Float pool Staff may cover ED, CCU, Med/Surg, MHU, OB and RRC. A Home Health RN administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plans of care under the direction and supervision of the Home Health Clinical Manager Minimum Qualifications for the Job : RN 2: License: Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license.
