The patient population on our acute care floor can be diverse, encompassing individuals of different ages, genders, cultures, and medical conditions. Typically, patients on this floor require immediate medical attention due to severe illnesses, injuries, or surgical procedures. This may include patients with acute respiratory distress, cardiac emergencies, infections, traumatic injuries, or complications from chronic conditions. In general, the patient population in this department is characterized by a need for medical care and monitoring to stabilize and treat their conditions.

Job Summary: Directs and/or provides professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum under the direction of the CNO. May serve as Charge nurse by providing supervision and guidance to other members of the PACU or pre-operative staff as directed by the CNO. Job Summary: Directs and/or provides professional perioperative nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.
