Anderson County Hospital (SLHS) is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Emergency Department . 

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – ED Float Pool
Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours, Nights
 

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures. Tier 1 will work at one entity.

SCOPE OF SERVICE The Queen’s Medical Center Emergency Transition Unit (ETU) is a 15-bed unit that provides comprehensive medical and nursing services 24 hours a day for adult patients across the acute care spectrum. The QMC ETU staff are expected to assist with caring for admitted patients boarding in the ED awaiting admission to Med/Surg or Telemetry units. Patient population includes but is not limited to: Cardio-vascular, neurology, respiratory diseases, orthopedic, oncology, gastrointestinal, urological, wound and skin disorders with medical and surgical intervention patients.
