Restorative Nurse Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents to promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being

  • Conduct restorative nursing assessments, identify resident needs, and develop strategies to address them

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care

  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, noting significant events or concerns

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress

Restorative Nurse Requirements:

  • Experience as a Registered Nurse

  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse License

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
