Your Impact: As ADON, you’ll collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee the daily operations of the nursing department. You’ll play a key role in shaping the quality of care our residents receive and ensure that nursing services are delivered in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director in managing day-to-day operations of the nursing department while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Help develop and maintain policies and procedures that support exceptional resident care.
  • Contribute to staffing decisions, ensuring the right mix of skilled nurses and assistants are available at all times.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Participate in care plan meetings, offering insights to improve resident care.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols, and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Provide direct nursing care when necessary and assist in emergency situations.
  • Lead in-service training and orientation programs to ensure the team is well-educated on best practices.
