• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced
• Required Skills: Facility births/month >300, Sterile vaginal exam, Starting and maintaining IVs, Insulin drips, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Sterile vaginal exam, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration, Spiral Electrode Placement, APGAR scores, Collect cord samples, Neonatal Resuscitation, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Cord Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Infant Identification, Metabolic Screen, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Thermoregulation
