Vital signs, weight, blood sugar, functional status and communicates changes to the RN in a timely fashion. Participate in respectful communication with patients, families and coworkers. Observe skin changes and reports to RN Promote infection control by using appropriate hand washing techniques. Follow standard precautions and any other isolation precautions as dictated by patient condition. Maintain a safe environment and protects patients from injury by observing the patient who may be at risk for falls, confusion, disorientation or suicidal behaviors.
